► MY STORY:
My personal motto is: "Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can." --Arthur Ashe.
All my life I've found myself dreaming of BIG things but the problem is, most of the time I don't have the money or resources to really DO it, ya know? But I'm not when to let a dream go very easily. If I don't have the money or resources, I know I at least I have a piece of paper and a pen. That's a start. I write out my plan, I sketch out my designs. Eventually I'll start looking around and find what I have that can get me started someway, somehow. And that's how I got here.
I've always wanted to have my own shop. Online or brick-and-mortar - it doesn't matter to me, and that's how I got started with this Etsy Shop years ago. I started selling my own stash of vintage clothing, books, jewelry and accessories, then I had a desire to make jewelry, but I didn't have the funds to buy materials, so I started making jewelry out of my own stash of broken jewelry and hand-me-downs from family members.
After I had two kids, I had very little time to manage my Etsy store. So I stepped away from it indefinitely. Now that my children are older, I now have more time to do what I love to do. Create awesome handmade bohemian home decor and boho jewelry for awesome people.
Take it from me. You don't have to spend a ton of money and make a million plans to start working on your goals. Just... Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.

► RECLAIMED MATERIALS
All of my crafts are created using mostly reclaimed materials. I work mostly with vintage saree remnants and magazines.
My husband makes his crafts from offcuts obtained from a local carpenter and sal wood pallets.

► ZERO WASTE PACKAGING
About 98% of my packaging and shipping materials are zero-waste! Most of my packaging is made by me from the pages of magazines, and my filler from old encyclopedia pages. And I've collected my shipping boxes from the Dollar Tree. They were more than happy to let me have them! Not only is this a environmentally responsible thing to do, it also keeps my handling cost at absolute zero. I don't have to buy anything except a little packing tape every now and then!
